PRIDETRONICS
Pridetronics, originally the Pride Techies, was created from the Mountain Pointe High School STEM Club. We started with a minuscule number of members and three tools. We have grown to a team of over seventy members and a small army of mentors. This academic year marks our 14th season!

FRC
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to inspire people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science and engineering skills that inspire innovation, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
Pridetronics participates in the FRC competition every year as our main season project. Each year we learn more about the program and continue to do better in every competition. We won first place at the 2016 Arizona West Regional. As well as ranking first and placing first at the Arizona State Championship.
VEX
Vex is a smaller robotics competition built to involve all age groups. Vex has many different levels of competition levels. Pridetronics participates in Vex as our smaller season competition as a way to involve new or experienced members. We hosted a VEX tournament at our school, where 32 teams registered and competed against each other.
